In this conversation, Mike Hambright and Mona Jones discuss the concept of peak performance for entrepreneurs, focusing on the mental barriers that often hold individuals back from achieving their full potential. They explore the role of limiting beliefs, the importance of self-reflection, and practical strategies for overcoming these obstacles. Mona emphasizes the significance of setting clear goals, surrounding oneself with high performers, and maintaining positive self-talk to foster growth and success. The discussion also touches on the hustle mentality and the need to work smarter rather than harder to achieve desired outcomes.

Investor Fuel Show Transcript:

Mike Hambright (00:01.358)
Hey everyone, welcome back to the show. Today I’m here with Mona Jones. We’re really excited for this show. We’re going to be talking about peak performance for entrepreneurs. a lot of us have a lot of junk in our mind, a lot of limiting beliefs and things like that. And she’s going to tell us how to break those barriers down so you can get to the next level. So Mona, welcome to the show.

Mona Jones, CHt. (00:12.5)
Thank

Mona Jones, CHt. (00:19.304)
Thank you. Thanks for having me.

Mike Hambright (00:21.166)
Yeah, I’m excited to talk about this because I find myself, mean, one of the things we talked about up front is even though I surround myself with like the best in the industry, I either see it in other people because I talk to so many people, I serve so many people, or I see it in myself sometimes about just thinking back about, know, I grew up in a very blue collar family. you know, don’t say this from a place of ego, but clearly the most kind of successful person in my family.

And sometimes I find myself being cheap about stuff or whatever. And I’m like, why do I think that way? And it holds you back. Sometimes you get past something, and it just takes you to a whole other level, like a video game, basically. So we’re going to talk about how to level up today. Yeah, awesome. Hey, before we jump into this, tell us a little bit about your, because interestingly enough,

Mona Jones, CHt. (01:05.225)
Right, right, leveling up, absolutely.

Yes, yes.

Mike Hambright (01:17.454)
you’re married to one of our members and you have a background in the real estate industry, the mortgage industry and stuff. So you kind of know how messed up real estate investors and professionals can be. So you’ve got that perspective and you have a whole different perspective on being a hypnotherapist and being able to teach people kind of how to break through barriers. tell us, but tell us a little bit more about you.

Mona Jones, CHt. (01:19.967)
Yes. Yes. Yes.

Mona Jones, CHt. (01:28.191)
yeah

Mona Jones, CHt. (01:39.102)
Yeah. Well, I, when I was in the mortgage business, I was in a BNI type group and there was a hypnotist in that group. And every time she got up to do her, you know, her elevator introduction, thought, that girl’s living my life. Like I need to be doing that instead of what I’m doing. So like golf, the real estate industry is so mental. The, the will to keep going when things are just blowing up all around you really takes a lot of, it takes it out of you.

Mike Hambright (01:52.546)
Yeah.

Mike Hambright (02:08.717)
Yeah.

Mona Jones, CHt. (02:08.936)
I thought, wow, I love the way that the mind factors into business mindset.

Mike Hambright (02:16.268)
Yeah, I think all the time because we have hundreds of members and I have other businesses with hundreds of clients and things like that all pretty much all real estate or certainly all entrepreneurs and I think about it all the time. Like sometimes we have two members in one market and one person just blows up over a couple years and one person just seemingly just can’t get out of their own way. They just keep spinning their wheels and like what what is that right and it could be a lot of things but a lot of it is.

Mona Jones, CHt. (02:35.264)
Yeah. Yeah.

Mike Hambright (02:42.7)
what they believe is possible or limiting beliefs they kind of have on themselves, right?

Mona Jones, CHt. (02:47.52)
Yeah, what the mind believes the body achieves. So if a person thinks they can only be so successful, they’ve already shut down that kind of background program that we have running that’s looking for opportunities, looking for solutions. If they only believe they can be so successful, the mind will not look beyond that for solutions or opportunities.

Mike Hambright (02:50.317)
Yeah.

Mike Hambright (03:11.342)
Yeah, you kind of talked about this internal thermostat, right? You get up to a certain level and then your mind and sometimes people sabotage themselves, right? They’ll like start to have success and then they’ll sabotage themselves somehow. And it might be subconscious and it just pulls you back to where you were because in your mind you’ve already determined that you can’t get past a point, even if it’s subconscious. It usually is subconscious, right?

Mona Jones, CHt. (03:14.902)
Yeah.

Mona Jones, CHt. (03:21.424)
Absolutely.

Mona Jones, CHt. (03:29.718)
Yeah.

Mona Jones, CHt. (03:36.375)
It usually is, yeah, because the conscious mind is logical and reasonable. So we know, hey, having more money, more success, feels good. It makes life easier. You know, that old saying that money doesn’t buy happiness. No, it doesn’t, but it buys freedom, but freedom makes you happy. you know, kind of go together. But if someone feels that being successful sets them apart from their family and friend group, then they’re gonna dampen their success.

Mike Hambright (03:53.558)
Right.

Mona Jones, CHt. (04:05.655)
so that they are not outside of their emotional and mental bubble. Some people may be experiencing even negative reaction to success in the circles that they move, the social and familial circles that they move. So they, on the conscious level, might decide, well, I’m fine, or I need to be successful. But if subconsciously they disagree, that’s really where hypnotherapy comes in, is when the conscious and subconscious mind disagree.

That’s when a person gets stuck and when they can’t move past a certain level or can’t get to where they want to go emotionally or financially in life. It’s usually because the conscious and subconscious mind disagree.

Mike Hambright (04:47.128)
So let’s talk about some practical ways to kind of, so I guess one is for people to understand if that’s happening to them, because sometimes you can’t figure out why it’s happening to you, but maybe kind of why it’s happening and then how to break through that.

Mona Jones, CHt. (05:02.154)
I really like, did you ever watch that show Billions with Bobby Axelrod as the lead character? Yeah, so every day Bobby Axelrod would sit down and he would have his kind of meditation. And I don’t mean that like in a kind of Buddhist way for your audience, but in that when you stop and listen to your inner voice, it’s telling you, real estate people have really great intuition. Whether or not they listen to it is a whole nother.

Mike Hambright (05:08.614)
yeah, yeah for sure, yeah.

Mike Hambright (05:15.426)
Yeah.

Mona Jones, CHt. (05:32.1)
another avenue, but to be able to sit quietly with your thoughts, no phones, you know, no scrolling, no, just quietly sit there and think, why do I, what does this remind me of? That’s a really powerful question. What does this remind me of? Whatever the feeling is or whatever the roadblock is, what does this remind me

Mike Hambright (05:48.984)
Hmm.

Mike Hambright (05:54.51)
How do you know to ask what questions to ask yourself? Cause a lot of times we’re just caught up in like we’re doing things. Life is happening. We don’t really think about it. It just kind of is what it is. Right. So how do you know, are there, you know, I know sometimes with, meditation and stuff like that, there are very, there’s, there might be like a list of questions you ask yourself every day.

And is it kind of canned like that or should it be? Or how do people become aware of what to ask themselves or what to tee up to think about?

Mona Jones, CHt. (06:24.85)
Now, I ought to be here.

the question.

Mona Jones, CHt. (06:33.997)
You know, I get a lot of clients and people even in my social life talk about how difficult meditation is because they’re like, I can’t quiet my thoughts. I can’t, you know, get that total silence. And that really isn’t what meditation is for our purposes here. What the meditation I’m talking about is focus, focusing on a subject. So if someone says, why do I…

ask themselves why do I keep pulling back? When I get to a certain level, why do I end up pulling back? I feel uncomfortable going beyond that or feel uncomfortable around certain level of successful people or why do I say the things that I do? Just sitting quietly with that thought and just see what comes up for you. And it’s almost not even really a set of questions, but begin with the why.

Mike Hambright (07:19.182)
Thank you.

Mike Hambright (07:27.66)
Yeah. And then do you find it’s it’s good for people to journal to like think about this? Because sometimes in my experience, sometimes I’ll ask myself questions and it’s a thought and it’s in my mind. And then I but squirrel runs by and I’m on to something else. And then I then I ask myself the same question again and again and again. But I find when I journal it and I write it down, it just sticks more. So it’s almost like I’ve already answered that question. If I haven’t written it down.

Mona Jones, CHt. (07:43.784)
hahahaha

Mona Jones, CHt. (07:53.305)
Mm-hmm.

Mike Hambright (07:57.334)
It’s almost like it hasn’t really been answered yet because it was an idea of an answer, but it wasn’t like definitive, you know?

Mona Jones, CHt. (08:04.248)
Yeah, well there is, you know, the something in that mind body connection that makes that stick for you, the idiomotor response and so forth. I think it depends on the person. For some people, journaling is absolutely where it’s at, but for others there, it just doesn’t do anything for them. So experimenting with different things that like, that speak to you.

Mike Hambright (08:26.114)
Yeah. And do you recommend that people try to do this consistently? Like every day have a certain amount of time where you just sit with your thoughts and ask yourself questions and their and their kind of performance based questions are just like, you know, if that’s your if that is your goal, we’re going to kind of presuming in this show like it could be around anything. It could be around your health or other things, too. Right. But we’re really kind of talking about peak performance in your business today. But.

Mona Jones, CHt. (08:32.995)
Yeah.

Mike Hambright (08:52.182)
Is that like a daily ritual type thing that you should just do it every day as soon as you get out of wake up or something like that?

Mona Jones, CHt. (08:58.235)
Sure, absolutely, because when we roll out of bed and you reach for the phone first thing and you’re checking emails, like on the way to the bathroom, you’re checking emails, that is, it’s over. Yeah, you’ve now conditioned your brain to be in that fight or flight mode. You’re in that grind already before you’ve had a chance to really breathe in the new day. And that sounds kind of woo woo, but when you set the tone at the beginning,

Mike Hambright (09:06.615)
It’s over.

Mike Hambright (09:22.168)
Yeah.

Mona Jones, CHt. (09:25.537)
that you would like to be in control of your day and setting the tone for what you’d like to accomplish today, whether it’s, you know, in business, your family, your primary relationship, whatever it may be, how do I want to feel or think or be today? And setting the tone for that. And then the world’s going to come at you, but the foundation has been laid for how you want to be given the day you’re having.

Mike Hambright (09:46.466)
Yeah.

Mike Hambright (09:51.81)
Yeah, so what are people have these self limiting beliefs often about like they might be the most successful person in their family. They might be the most successful person in their neighborhood, or maybe they think that or whatever. But but a lot of times that holds you back from moving even further if you could, right? And so. Not necessarily PC, but I always sometimes I’m like people will. Have some level of success or they’ll talk about something and you know, I’m just like.

I’ve kind of used this phrase like, well, yeah, I feel like I’m the tallest midget in the room, but I’m still small. I’m still I can get taller. You know, it’s like I can get taller. Right. But anyway, like sometimes people just hit this wall and they don’t think they can move past it, but they’ve conditioned themselves to believe that. And I think one of the benefits of people that come into investor fuel, into the mastermind is they can see what’s possible. I mean, we have people that, you know, are doing.

Mona Jones, CHt. (10:45.37)
Yes.

Mike Hambright (10:48.238)
two deals a month and we have people that are doing 60 deals a month, 80 deals a month, right? And so, but people don’t think that’s possible until they see somebody else doing it and they’re like, and they just talk to them and they’re like, yeah, we just got really focused and you know, they were, they were not superhuman. They just didn’t have as much mind junk as maybe the rest of us have.

Mona Jones, CHt. (11:06.17)
Yeah. And, and the mind junk can look different for different people. for some people they’re doing 60 deals a month because they’re, they’re out running their demons for other people. they’re yeah, it could be. And for other people, they’re doing 60 deals a month because this is their passion and it speaks to them and they love problem solving and they love like the challenge of it all. So when you look at someone, you know, whatever level they’re doing, there’s a reason why they’re doing it. And so.

Mike Hambright (11:10.414)
Yeah.

Mike Hambright (11:15.702)
Yeah, it could be.

Mona Jones, CHt. (11:34.139)
when someone wants to level up, they need a really good reason to be in touch with every day so that when the chaos hits, they are in touch with that reason and that fuels them forward. So a self-limiting belief can come from early childhood, things that went into the subconscious mind, the conscious mind’s like, you know, that was a million years ago, I was just a kid then, but it stays with us and it informs our decisions in the present.

using hypnotherapy, we neutralize the negative impact of self-limiting beliefs. And therefore, we’re taking the shackles off so that the person can move ahead.

Mike Hambright (12:12.204)
Yeah. So if people have these limiting beliefs and you’re able to on shackle them, like what is the role of having clearly defined goals of what you want to accomplish with setting your mind free to be able to do it? Because you still need to have a target defined to get to something right. talk about that because I’ve also found a lot of entrepreneurs, despite the fact they know how important kind of planning is.

Mona Jones, CHt. (12:29.66)
Yes. Yes.

Mike Hambright (12:37.612)
They hate it and they don’t really want to be held accountable and because we’re all if you’re an entrepreneur and you’re the business owner, you’re the CEO and chief bottle washer, you know, but people still people still often. I mean, and by the way, the most successful people that I know do have very clearly defined goal planning sessions and they’re looking at their goals every single day. They might have it on their monitor on their mirror in their bathroom and like I am going to get this. I am going to get this. But even if you kind of set your mind junk free, unless you have that

Mona Jones, CHt. (12:45.552)
Hahaha!

Mike Hambright (13:06.936)
those marching orders, you’re like aimless,

Mona Jones, CHt. (13:11.527)
Correct, yes. The subconscious mind needs a target. And if we don’t give that subconscious mind a target, opportunities will slip past you. you will, you’ll get distracted and wander off because the goal is not clear. And so, I do get how people can get hung up on, like, I don’t wanna be accountable, I don’t wanna put this goal out there, but when we unpack that very often.

The reason a person doesn’t want to have a goal is they don’t know why they’re going to have that goal. They’re not in touch with their why. And the other is there’s a part of the subconscious mind that believes that they probably won’t be able to hit that goal. So they’re pre-avoiding disappointment by not having a specific goal to miss. But it’s, you know, we have to flip that. And so when we look at somebody who’s doing 60 deals a month,

Mike Hambright (13:56.696)
Yeah.

Mona Jones, CHt. (14:06.494)
And I’m talking to someone who’s doing two deals a month. I asked the two deal a month person, what kind of people do 60 deals a month? And so they begin to have to reveal their perceptions about what kind of people are operating at the level that they would like to, if they could. And so now we have to incorporate those beliefs into their present self.

Mike Hambright (14:26.19)
Mm-mm.

Mike Hambright (14:32.024)
Hmm. So they think in order to do that, you have to be this kind of person. I’m currently not that kind of person because of this. And then you kind of flip the script on that and say, well, you are that kind of person or you can be. Yeah.

Mona Jones, CHt. (14:33.222)
Now they’re.

Mona Jones, CHt. (14:40.508)
Yes.

Yes, you can be, yes. So if they say, that person is operating at that level. And I say, well, what kind of people are that? Well, they’re confident, they believe in themselves. They’re probably got like no fear, this, that, and they have their list. And so we just install those beliefs into the person who’s looking to level up.

Mike Hambright (15:09.454)
Yeah, that’s great. And then what what is I found, you know, one of the benefits of being in our mastermind is people get to see, you know, we talked about this a moment ago, what’s possible, because sometimes when people are, you know, especially entrepreneurs, if you don’t have a community to be a part of, and typically, honestly, a professional community, a paid community, probably because free Facebook groups and

Mona Jones, CHt. (15:21.714)
Mm-hmm.

Mike Hambright (15:37.388)
local meetup clubs and stuff like that are great, but they’re usually a lot of just be honest, like in my experience of lower level performers that are just going to go do the free stuff, right? I mean, the big dogs don’t typically go there because they think they’re a big dog and they’re like, everybody’s just going to take from me. So sometimes just surrounding yourself with more people that have a higher track record. let’s talk about that benefit of surrounding yourself. I mean,

On some level, obviously you help people with hypnosis and other things to kind of break through these barriers. Sometimes these barriers can be broken down just by surrounding yourself as well, not to compare you, but on some level, if they get around people that have broken through those barriers, that can help them as well, right?

Mona Jones, CHt. (16:21.839)
Absolutely can because again, if we are looking to level up, what are you leveling up to? If you’re surrounding yourself with low level performers, you think, I’ve made it. And it’s like, no, the answer is you, there’s always more. There’s always more. Next level. And it isn’t about being better than somebody else. It’s about the…

Mike Hambright (16:29.987)
Yeah.

Mike Hambright (16:34.402)
Yeah.

Mike Hambright (16:37.742)
Alright, there’s the next level.

Mike Hambright (16:45.07)
Sure.

Mona Jones, CHt. (16:47.252)
the experiencing the world experience. I did a podcast with, a commercial real estate executive, and he was talking about just having been super blessed and, and super successful, but wanted to do more. And we talked about, you know, how some people might have spiritual, like discomfort with being really successful. And he said, I don’t, he said, because the more successful I am, the more people I can help. So all my.

Mike Hambright (17:10.467)
Hmm.

Mike Hambright (17:15.148)
Right.

Mona Jones, CHt. (17:16.085)
financial needs will be met for the rest of my life, but now I can help other people. And he just loves the chase. He loves the game. He loves to just push up his sleeves and get all in there. So yeah, definitely surrounding. Yeah.

Mike Hambright (17:21.281)
Yeah.

enough.

Yeah, and it is a game, right? It’s like it’s just another level, right? Yeah, I agree. It’s the same. I talk about this all the time. Like my I’ve achieved. I’ve achieved a decent level of success. I don’t need to. I don’t I don’t need to work anymore if I don’t want to. But like what would I do then? I love to like I want to get to the next level. Like you said, it’s not about being better than anybody else. It’s about being better than yourself yesterday, right? I’m just trying to be. I’m just trying to beat myself yesterday. Yeah.

Mona Jones, CHt. (17:47.892)
Yes, yes, yes.

Yeah, yeah, and enjoy the game and as he said, help other people. Just help other people. And the more successful you are, the more you can see there’s still room to grow. There’s no end to it. mean, I don’t know, maybe Jeff Bezos, know, you’re at the top of the game.

Mike Hambright (17:59.086)
Yeah.

Mike Hambright (18:09.292)
Yeah, mean, yeah, think about that. Think about that all the time. Like, I don’t want to be Jeff Bezos, but like, if that’s possible, if it’s possible to be Elon Musk, if it’s possible to be a Jeff Bezos, all those folks have 24 hours in a day, just like the rest of us. And they were able to achieve amazing things. And so it’s like, you know, even if you don’t want to get to that level, there’s a huge gap between where most of us are today and that level. So there’s plenty of room to grow, right?

Mona Jones, CHt. (18:36.482)
Yeah, absolutely. again, when you look at Bezos and Musk, mean, those guys are characters in their own right. Maybe some people might have a limiting belief about that. Well, if I’m this successful, then I’m going to be this way or that way that I don’t want to be. And we know that isn’t necessarily a requirement. You get to do you. And so that circling back to that daily meditation.

How do I be the guy I want to be or the woman I want to be and at the level I want to operate at? How do I do both?

Mike Hambright (19:14.626)
Yeah, sometimes people look at those super successful people and they classify them as evil or bad or they must take advantage of people or they were a leech on the government or whatever it might be. And they’re really just doing that to protect yourself and say, well, you’re good, right? Like you, you’re you did it the right way and they didn’t. I mean, sometimes that’s just a limiting belief that you place on yourself that allows you to just stay where you’re at. Yeah.

Mona Jones, CHt. (19:20.192)
Mm-hmm, yeah.

Mona Jones, CHt. (19:33.323)
Yeah. Yeah.

Mona Jones, CHt. (19:39.233)
Absolutely. And some of that can be programming from childhood. If someone comes from the type of background where the family or the community associates struggle with humility or struggle with, know, godliness or spiritualness, you know, that’s, that’s going to play conscious mind as you, as we age, we say, well, gosh, one has nothing to do with the other. There are plenty of rich people at church. So, you know, it’s not, you know,

And again, back to the worthiness thing. I, you know, when I’m working with a client on worthiness, I always say the universe cares not about worthiness. And we know this because there’s a drug lord in Mexico with a bigger house than you, better cars than you, kids go to better schools than yours. So God and the universe care not about whether or not you are worthy of success. Everybody’s worthy. It’s what are you going to, you know, what are you going to let go of?

Mike Hambright (20:21.134)
All right.

Mike Hambright (20:29.538)
Yeah. I’d like to talk about some kind of practical things that people can do to start moving in that direction. Of course, they’ll be able to, you know, look for you and hunt you down and find out how you can maybe help make that process easier. But I’ve also found there’s a lot of entrepreneurs that they get caught up in the hustle, like they fall in love with the hustle and the grind. And the truth is, is the

Bezos is in the Elon world worked really, really hard, but they couldn’t hustle their way to that point. Like they need to build a team and find a way to utilize resources that are way outside of their own capacity because nobody has that much capacity. So I assume you’ve seen a lot of entrepreneurs that are just stuck in that. They kind of like get addicted to the hustle part, which generally means that they’re going to have a ceiling where they can break through because they can’t hustle.

Mona Jones, CHt. (21:00.576)
no.

Mike Hambright (21:28.44)
beyond where they are today.

Mona Jones, CHt. (21:30.295)
Yes. Yeah. Yeah. There’s, there’s a tendency for entrepreneurs, to think that they have to do it all themselves. And they’re probably very capable of doing it all themselves. The question is whether you should be doing it all yourself and utilizing resources and partnerships and, you know, connections to, to expand where you are is really powerful. mean, I don’t know any Uber successful people.

who aren’t surrounded by an amazing team.

Mike Hambright (22:03.692)
Right? Yeah, you have to be. So what the practical things that people can do to start to break through? We talked a little bit about kind of asking yourself questions, a little bit of a meditation. What are some other things they could obviously surround themselves with people that are performing at a higher level and try to like see what’s possible? What are some other practical things that you share with people to kind of break through to kind of have peak performance?

Mona Jones, CHt. (22:06.528)
You have to be. You absolutely have to be.

Mona Jones, CHt. (22:23.554)
Mm-hmm.

Mona Jones, CHt. (22:29.984)
really watch yourself talk. You know, we all have that, that inner voice that says things and a lot of times it’s unkind or negative and we really need to flip that so that it’s more positive. So for example, when I’m working, I work with a lot of baseball players. that game will just get in your head apparently because I have that sport more than any other. And so when, a batter is on deck, I say, what’s, what’s going through your mind at that moment? And they say, don’t strike out.

Don’t strike out, don’t strike out, don’t strike out. Well, the subconscious mind pays attention to the second half of the sentence or what the subject is. So the subject is striking out. So when they get to the plate, the conscious mind wants a hit, the subconscious mind is focusing on striking out, and then we have the struggle. Now we got the yips. Now we got some things going on because that’s that inner conflict. So all we have to do is flip it away from what we don’t want because now the subconscious mind is focusing on what you don’t want.

Mike Hambright (23:06.488)
The worst.

Mona Jones, CHt. (23:28.069)
We’re going to flip it into what you do want. So if someone’s picking up the phone, they’re like, don’t mess up this call. Don’t mess up this call. So conscious mind is focusing on messing up the golf. But if the, the, the flip that we’ll use for athletes is do your best, just get on base, make contact, you know, so whatever the positive, and I don’t mean an affirmation like, cause that’s a whole nother subject of like,

Mike Hambright (23:38.722)
Yeah.

Mona Jones, CHt. (23:54.632)
I am a successful person or I am unstoppable. There’s a reason why that doesn’t work for some people, but we’ll come back to that. But for the practical tip is watch yourself talk. Don’t think about what you don’t want. Think about what you do want.

Mike Hambright (24:09.74)
Yeah. Yeah. And when should you do those things? it before in business? Let’s just say as a real estate investor, is this before you meet with a seller to make an offer like it? Should you have this? I guess kind of process where before you do a thing, you you you kind of tell you basically you coach yourself, coach yourself up a little bit to go out there and swing the bat, which for us is making an offer or meeting with somebody to try to like.

help them so you kinda like have a mantra or something you would say ahead of time to kinda prep yourself.

Mona Jones, CHt. (24:44.4)
well, when it comes to self talk, it’s developing the habit of thinking about what you do want as opposed to what you do not want. and as far as mantras go, people who, the anxiety brain, people who, who are over thinkers or who have anxiety, mantras tend to trip them up because if they say, I am successful at every encounter.

Mike Hambright (24:52.257)
Okay.

Mona Jones, CHt. (25:06.062)
Well, the anxiety brain’s like, whoa, I’m sippin’ at one time or maybe about this thing. It creates some unrest inside. So whenever someone has their mantra or their anchor for success, it should feel good. If there’s any kind of pull or doubt, it needs to be adjusted so that it works. So if you’re going into making an offer, let’s say, just be giving yourself self-talk.

that is leading towards the outcome that you want. We’re working towards a common goal or success for everyone. My wish is success for everyone. Whatever feels good.

Mike Hambright (25:45.656)
Yeah.

any other things that entrepreneurs can do to kind of start to, you know, get to the next level.

Mona Jones, CHt. (25:56.827)
Boy, let’s see, we’ve covered surrounding yourself, being in touch with your why. Your why is gonna be really powerful. If you’re on a weight loss journey, got a class reunion coming up, your why suddenly gets very powerful and you’re unstoppable, right? So being in touch with your why, having a vision of what you want your outcome to be, and then identifying self-loving beliefs. What does it remind you of?

Mike Hambright (26:00.034)
Yeah.

Mike Hambright (26:04.546)
Yeah.

Mike Hambright (26:12.686)
Right.

Mike Hambright (26:19.352)
Hmm.

Mona Jones, CHt. (26:25.904)
what do you need to address in some way, or form? Because it’s not just hypnotherapy, it can be traditional therapy, could be EFT or tapping. I mean, those are different techniques and…

Mike Hambright (26:36.332)
Yeah. And maybe you could share one last thought on this idea is for managers, for people to kind of like take these skills and this knowledge that some of the information we talk about here today and help people on their team become better. Because obviously, you know, if our team is not leveling up, then we’re limited as entrepreneurs or business owners. So how do you share these things with your team to make sure like maybe it could be

you know, some of the same things we talked about today, but just like how. As managers, we talk to people that work with us. Sometimes we say things to them that create self limiting beliefs, right? Like, well, we probably won’t do as good as we did last year, but hopefully we do, you know, things like that, right? Not sure what our best year ever. We probably won’t be that again, but let’s try.

Mona Jones, CHt. (27:20.79)
yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I mean, and you can play with it.

Yeah. absolutely. And that just goes right into the subconscious mind, particularly if there’s already that sort of glass half empty, kind of programming in there. just goes, goes straight to that. So again, as, as managers looking forward to what you do want. last year was a bang up year and maybe you won’t do as well this year as you did last year or the signs are there. I mean, it can be fun. Like who’s in the mood to make more money this year than last year.

Who’s going to say no to that? And, you know, what are we willing to do to be more successful this year than last year? Let’s brainstorm that, you know, and just really, again, conditioning the mind towards what you do want instead of thinking about what you don’t.

Mike Hambright (27:57.026)
Yeah. Right. Yeah, yeah.

Mike Hambright (28:13.336)
Yeah, awesome. Well, Mona, if folks want to learn more about you and some of your services or to help kind of break through where some of the limiting beliefs are so they can operate at a higher level, where can they go to learn more about you?

Mona Jones, CHt. (28:24.551)
They can go to my website mojohypnosis.com and there’s a Calendly link if you wanted to book a 30 minute exploration session. We can do that. That’s available there as well. yeah, so calendly.com forward slash mojo hypno. That one’s a little shorter, mojo hypno. And then I’m also on TikTok and Instagram as mojohypno.

Mike Hambright (28:50.028)
OK, awesome. I appreciate that. Yeah, think a lot of us have my a lot of us have mindset issues, me included. So this is always interesting to me because sometimes you forget, like you just keep hitting this wall and you just settle for like this is just how it is. Maybe I need to work harder and it’s like, well, maybe you just have some mental blocks that aren’t allowing you to get through it. And sometimes we forget that you don’t like the key is not hustle harder. The key is.

find a way to work smarter, right?

Mona Jones, CHt. (29:21.045)
Absolutely, absolutely. And your subconscious mind can be your best friend or it can be an adversary. So you really want your subconscious mind to be on your side. So if you’re believing consciously and subconsciously in a goal, you’ll get there. You will get there.

Mike Hambright (29:34.732)
Yeah, yeah, yeah. Awesome. Well, hey, thank you so much for joining us today. We’re going to add links down below for folks that want to learn more. And I really appreciate the conversation. was very good. Very good.

Mona Jones, CHt. (29:45.97)
Good, good, thanks for having me.

Mike Hambright (29:47.842)
Yeah, everybody hopefully got some good value from today. If this resonated with you, you should learn more about Mona, but just be thinking about if nothing else, just be thinking about you’ve created some of these ceilings and these barriers for yourself. And I do it too. It’s you you’re not alone, but just if you are aware it’s an issue, you got to find a way to break through the next level. Because as entrepreneurs, we’re all working for that freedom could be more money. Ultimately, it’s more time and

being able to enjoy your life more and you might be limiting your ability, you probably are limiting your ability to achieve all that you could achieve right now. You’re limiting your ability to impact the world and positively impact those around you by just junk you have in your mind. So hopefully this is a little bit of a catalyst for you to find a way to clear that out. So appreciate you guys a bunch and we’ll see you on the next show.
